Privacy

Apprizon, LLC (registered in Michigan and operating from the United States) operates Find Your Angle and is responsible for the personal information described here. This notice covers the website and assistant connector. Contact apprizon@gmail.com for privacy requests.

Eligibility and information to leave out

The service is for people aged 18 and up. Before entering a decision, signing in or voting, you confirm eligibility and read this notice. We retain the version and time of that declaration on signed-in accounts, not your birth date. This is self-declaration, not verified age. An account reporting an age under 18 loses decision and assistant-memory access and reminders; deletion remains available.

This launch excludes residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom, and use from those regions. We check network addresses against a country database held on our server and require a fresh age, residence and location declaration for website and assistant access. We do not send your network address to the database provider or store a country on your profile. IP location can be inaccurate or hidden by a VPN; assistant requests may come from the assistant's servers, so the account declaration also matters. Please do not use the service to bypass this restriction. Existing account access, export, deletion and unsubscribe remain available.

Do not send identifying information about children under 18, contact details, health information, government IDs, payment data or secrets. Keep family references general, such as family time or bedtime. We screen content before saving or returning it, and suppress detected unsuitable older records from assistants, AI input, vote links and reminders. Screening can miss indirect details or languages it does not recognize; it is not a guarantee of detection. You can remove older records on your You page or ask us to delete them.

What we store

On this website, when you start a decision we store what you wrote and the answer. To weigh it, what you wrote is sent to Google Gemini through Vertex AI. If you are signed in with memory on, we also send short remembered priorities, decisions and outcomes to help it weigh your choice. Turn memory off on your You page to stop that use.

In a connected AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, the Find Your Angle connector receives the short card the assistant writes: the question, the two options, which way it leans, the next step and the reasons. When you ask it to remember something that matters to you, it sends us that short phrase. When you tell it how a decision went, it sends us which option you chose, how it feels (good, mixed or bad) and an optional short note. The connector does not request your conversation or files.

Each decision's link closes after 30 days. Stored links and votes are then marked for automatic deletion; the storage provider can remove them later than the expiry time.

If you sign in

Signing in (with Google or an email link) lets Find Your Angle remember you. We keep your email, the priorities you add, and a short record of each decision you make while signed in: the question, the two options, which way it leaned, and later what you chose and how it went. We keep these until you delete them, and use them only to weigh your next decisions.

The website gives 5 free answers a month. To count them we keep a monthly tally for your account, or, when you're signed out, for a one-way scrambled form of your network address. Tallies are marked for deletion seven days after the month ends; storage-provider deletion can occur later.

When you open the share options, your browser loads Snapchat's share button from Snap, so Snap sees your network address. Nothing about your decision is sent until you share to Snapchat.

About two weeks after a decision, we send one short email asking how it went, through our email provider, Resend. Every email has a one-click link to stop them, and you can turn them off on your You page.

If you connect Find Your Angle in an AI assistant, you sign in with the same account and approve the connection. The assistant can then read what matters to you and how your past decisions went, and save new decisions, priorities and outcomes to the same memory. Deleting your account revokes its Find Your Angle connection.

On your You page you can see the memory Find Your Angle makes available to your connected assistant, forget any decision, turn memory off, or delete your account and its profile, remembered decisions, owned vote links and votes, monthly account tally and assistant grants. Disconnect in the assistant settings to revoke that connection without deleting your account. Copies already returned to an assistant or shared with friends follow that recipient's terms and are not erased by deleting here.

You can also download your current account memory on the You page. This download does not include every operational or provider record. Forgetting a remembered decision does not close its original shared link; contact us if you want the link deleted early.

Who sees what

Anyone with a link can see the short question, the two options and any line about a dropped option. Link previews and card images can be copied or cached by recipients or messaging services. They never see what you wrote or the answer. On this website, the browser you used can see the full answer. A decision made through a connected assistant also opens for its owner when signed in to the same Find Your Angle account. Connected assistants can recall the short decision records and outcomes you keep in memory.

Votes contain no voter names. To count each device once, we keep decision-specific one-way codes made from the browser, device and network, rather than raw network addresses in the voting records. We delete these codes with the decision's votes. Operational logs are described below.

Providers, storage and requests

Google's terms prohibit training AI models on our customer data without our permission or instruction. Google may retain prompts for abuse monitoring and uses project-isolated in-memory caching for up to 24 hours by default. We have not obtained a zero-retention exception. The model uses Google's global endpoint, so model processing can occur outside the United States or your country.

Google Firebase Authentication handles sign-in, and Google Cloud hosts the API and stored records in the United States. Resend receives reminder recipients and short decision content. A connected assistant receives the memory and card results it requests, under its own terms. The site and card load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives network metadata. Sharing opens your selected messaging service under its terms. Processing can occur outside your country. Older website decisions may have been processed by DeepSeek in China; changing providers does not erase data already processed.

OAuth access tokens last one hour; refresh tokens last up to 30 days and rotate when used. One-way network codes cap votes and connection registrations for one-hour limits. These codes are marked for deletion one day after that hour ends; storage-provider deletion can occur later. Cloud Run operational logs are retained for 30 days and can include network addresses and request paths. Other providers retain logs under their own policies. We do not deliberately log decision text, passwords or assistant tokens.

You can request access, correction, deletion or an export by emailing the contact below. Rights and complaint options depend on where you live. The current Firestore database is in the US, has no scheduled backups, and has point-in-time recovery disabled; provider recovery mechanisms can retain deleted versions briefly. Other providers have their own retention policies.

You can also request restriction of processing or object to it, where applicable. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns you. We explain our response and any retained information. Where applicable, you can complain directly to your data-protection authority. The launch restriction does not remove rights concerning information already held.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, or use tracking cookies. We use the service providers described above to run these features. Decisions are stored with Google Cloud, which hosts the service.

Your browser does store sign-in, eligibility, decision-owner and voting state. Voting also uses screen information, timezone, language and hardware concurrency to help prevent duplicate votes. These uses are separate from advertising and do not make voting codes anonymous.

Country checks use unmodified DB-IP Country Lite October 2026 data, licensed under CC BY 4.0. IP Geolocation by DB-IP. Country checks are approximate, not verified residence or physical location.

Please leave out names and details you wouldn't want on a card.
